The 2010 campaign for Rhode Island Attorney General has certainly heated up with news that House Majority Whip and former Pawtucket Police Captain Peter Kilmartin has announced the hiring of Brett Broesder and Chris Farrell – two staffers that will serve as his management team.
“I am pleased to announce the additions of Brett and Chris to my team. Both bring extensive political experience and it’s great to have them in Rhode Island focusing their ideas and strengths on helping ensure the protection, safety and security of Rhode Islanders,” said Rep. Kilmartin (D-Pawtucket).

He will also serve as a spokesperson and media contact. Most recently Broesder has worked in Washington, D.C. as a public-affairs consultant for Hill & Knowlton and Ketchum – two of the world’s largest public-relations firms. In addition, Broesder has served on several political campaigns, including Sheldon Whitehouse for U.S. Senate and Barack Obama for President, as well as others in Kentucky and Pennsylvania.
Chris Farrell – a native of Cumberland and graduate of RIC – has been hired as the Manager of Finance, Field, and Operations.
